What visitors can see—and what remains protected
The public website reads only separately approved public records. Submitting information does not automatically make it public.
Information in the public evidence view
Public pages may show an approved summary, issue categories, sector, general location and requested response. Exact incident coordinates appear only where explicit exact-location publication consent was recorded.
Information not shown publicly
Reporter contact details, tracking credentials, original evidence files, unapproved submissions, internal review notes and restricted safeguarding information are excluded from public website responses.
Your choices
Contact, quotation, identification, media publication and location publication are separate permissions. A reporter may request correction or withdrawal using their private tracking credentials, subject to applicable safety, policy and legal requirements.
Responsible use
Do not use public location data to identify, contact or put pressure on reporters or affected people. Public records document community-submitted evidence and do not by themselves establish legal liability.
